I've been a customer at J.R.'s for several years now and purchased 5 guns and loads of supplies over that time. I've never had a negative experience at the end of the day. John's son and two daughters have always been very kind, informed, and helpful when it comes to anything I'd ask. Their indoor range is very nice, it's clean, and if I want to pick up my own brass for reloading they don't hassle me about it. There is always a great selection of new and even used firearms with inventory frequently added. If you don't see it chances are they can find it. Their prices are fair. Yes, there is a small retail markup, like you'd see inside of any storefront. People need to understand this is a place of business at the end of the day. It's family owned, it's local, and you have access to product and services on the spot. Ignore the other reviews complaining about how they skinned their knee or are making absurd claims. Please, don't behave like a moron in a gun store, mind your manners. There is a reason I've returned their every time I have, because they're good at what they do. Support local, it's always a pleasure to visit the shop.

Brought my Daughter here for her first Range experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The showroom is big roomy and clean with a lot of displays. We paid our range fee, and we went into the range the were not crowded so we had some room. They have 10 lanes and we spent a good hour there. When we were leaving we did look at some of the guns on display for sale. Prices seemed a little on the high side. But we had fun and will come back for sure!

Went in today to see how much they would buy my firearm for. Lady came back from the back and told me they would pay $100 with extended mag and reg mag. The extended mag alone cost $50-60 LMFAO I just walked out laughing. They had the same firearm listed at $700. Highly not recommend selling your firearm to them. I just went to a different place and sold it for $500.

Just went in for an appraisal of a Barret 300 Winn. Had two other appraisals done at other firearms dealers today and the price range that was quoted was $4500 to $5500. This place comes out and says $2000, yeah right. This place in my opinion is not a place I would do business with nor would I suggest this place to anyone else. When I was leaving I said to the salesman expect a review. He said why would you trash my place? Well to respond to that question, I’m not trashing you or your place as you have done that all on your own. I’m only being honest, and maybe, just you should learn from my example. It’s now up to you to decide, is this a place you would want to support by or with your patronage?
